3. Our services
AL coordinates and supervises international logistics operations (air, ocean and land freight) to and from any country, and offers complete customs services in Central America and Latin America. Customs services are provided through our network of allied customs agencies: declarations at each customs office are filed by licensed customs brokers and agencies in that network, under the coordination and supervision of AL, which is your single point of contact. The terms of each service are agreed in writing for each operation.
4. Website information and downloadable documents
The texts, PDF checklists (available in Spanish) and other content on this website are for information and guidance only. Customs, health and foreign trade regulations change frequently, and how they apply depends on the type of goods, their classification, their origin and the criteria of the competent authority. Before shipping, confirm the requirements for your case with AL or with the relevant authority.
5. ADU assistant (artificial intelligence)
- ADU is an automated assistant based on artificial intelligence. Its answers are for guidance only, may contain errors or omissions, and do not constitute legal, customs or tax advice.
- Pre-assessments, CIF value calculations and duty and tax estimates are approximate and subject to the determination of the customs authority, which sets the customs value, tariff classification and applicable duties and taxes.
- ADU does not give AL prices, rates or quotes; no figure in the chat is binding on AL.
- General guidance is free. The analysis of a specific case (for example, classifying a product, calculating the duties and taxes of an import or reviewing documents) is a specialized consultation subject to fees, which are disclosed before the service is provided.
- You agree not to use ADU for purposes unrelated to its intended use or attempt to interfere with how it works.
6. Quotes and prices
This website does not publish AL prices. A quote is only valid when AL issues it in writing, with its scope, validity and conditions. Transit times, third-party costs (shipping lines, airlines, warehouses, authorities) and duties and taxes may vary for reasons beyond AL's control. AL does not guarantee release times or outcomes that depend on the authorities.
7. User commitments
- Provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information, and authentic documents.
- Not use the website or our services to import, export or transport prohibited goods or in breach of the law.
- Not attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts or data, or send malicious or automated content.
8. Tracking tool
The tracking tool shows a general, informational status for the code entered. It does not replace confirmation from an advisor or the official documents of the operation.
9. Intellectual property
The AL Services Logistics brand, the logo, the name ADU, and the website's texts, design and documents belong to AL or are used with permission. Photographs and videos come from stock libraries with free-use licenses or are illustrative AI-generated images that do not show real AL operations or people. You may download and print the checklists for personal or business use, without modifying or selling them.
10. Third-party links and services
The website links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, Google Maps and Zoho Mail. Their use is governed by the terms and policies of those third parties; AL is not responsible for their content or availability.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, AL shall not be liable for damages arising from the use of the guidance-only information on the website or from ADU, from decisions made without confirmation from an advisor, or from website interruptions due to technical or third-party causes. AL's liability for contracted services is governed by what is agreed in writing for each operation.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Nicaragua. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Nicaragua, without prejudice to the rights the law of your country grants you as a consumer.
